Pallets are a great source of reclaimed wood for building. Overheard between Ivory and T.L.: T.L.: I’m making a nesting box out of that pallet I picked up in my neighbor’s garbage. I have made one with the required size hole for a birthday present and the blue tits, who eventually raised a family in it, actually enlarged the hole by pecking out the wood! This design is adaptable to other bird species and I will be posting other boxes soon.
